Each year, we host multiple poetry writing contests that feature a different theme so there is truly something for everyone! And you’re an artist, right? Not feeling the theme? We love a good healthy dose of literary interpretation.
All our poetry writing contest winners are chosen by the little infinite audience! That’s right! Our online voting means even the humblest poet gets a chance to share their unique story and showcase their writing skills. You might even be a winner and get published on our site! Theme: Positive Poetry in a Negative World Poetry Contest
Feeling tired of all the gloom in this world? Let’s spread some light and share a positive message with everyone! Your poem can be about anything that inspires you to stay positive in a negative world. Maybe it’s the beauty of nature, the kindness of strangers, or the love of family and friends. Whatever it is, we want to hear your voice and be uplifted by your words. Share your positivity (21 lines or fewer) and win!

Dates:
Submissions are open from Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, and end at 11:59 pm Friday, May 17, 2024.
Voting will remain open to the public until 11:59 pm Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Winners will be contacted by Thursday, June 6, 2024.
