We are calling all writers and poets to join our poetry writing contests to share their voice on our platform and maybe even win a prize or two!
Whether you’ve never written a poem, or you’ve got dozens scribbled on little pieces of paper hiding in your desk, it’s time to share with the world! Our writing and poetry competitions are the perfect place for beginners and experienced poets alike!
Each year, we host multiple poetry writing contests that feature a different theme so there is truly something for everyone! And you’re an artist, right? Not feeling the theme? We love a good healthy dose of literary interpretation.
All our poetry writing contest winners are chosen by the little infinite audience! That’s right! Our online voting means even the humblest poet gets a chance to share their unique story and showcase their writing skills. You might even be a winner and get published on our site! So, what are you waiting for? Check out our upcoming contests and start writing for one of our poetry prizes!
Not a poet or having a bout of writer’s block? No problem. Even if you don’t write poetry, voting gives you the chance to interact with and encourage new and upcoming poets.
Contest Announcement
In honor of Pride Month, put pen to paper (or finger to key), and write a poem that illustrates your love, your allyship, and your pride in 21 lines or fewer.
Submissions are accepted from Friday, June 2, 2023, and end acceptance at 11:59 pm Friday, June 30, 2023. Voting will remain open to the public until 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023. Winners will be contacted by Wednesday, July 12th, 2023.
Prizes: Three poetry contest winners!
First Prize: $150 Visa gift card!
2nd Place Prize: $75 Visa gift card.
3rd Place Prize: $50 Visa gift card.
