When JLo’s latest Netflix film Office Romance debuted in June 2026, it took the internet by storm and was dominated trending searches. Here at little infinite, you know we can’t resist a good rom-com based on classic romance tropes. Not every film has to be a cinematic masterpiece that’s worthy of an Oscar. Sometimes, it doesn’t matter what the critics say. In case you haven’t watched Office Romance yet, it’s an R-rated forbidden love rom-rom starring Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso). It was co-written by Goldstein and Joe Kelly, a longtime SNL writer who’s best known for Ted Lasso and How I Met Your Mother. The movie takes a classic romance trope about forbidden love and high-stakes workplace romance and combines with it saucy (and sometimes crude) Judd Apatow-style humor. Jackie Cruz (JLo) is a sarcastic, hardworking CEO at her father’s airline company. She enforces a strict policy against fraternization and office relationships until sparks fly between her and British attorney Daniel Blanchflower (Goldstein), who’s hired to help the company fight a major lawsuit against a rival airline. Meanwhile, co-stars Betty Gilpin (GLOW) and Tony Hale, a prolific voice-over actor, steal plenty of laughs along the way. OK,
