Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Shane Hall is an award-winning novelist attending a New York City literary event. Eva Mercy is a bestselling erotica novelist, a single mother, who is about to wish she lived in a different city. Sparks fly when these two novelists meet and the chemistry between them is undeniable. But what seems like a first meeting to outsiders, is actually hiding a secret.

Fifteen years ago, Eva and Shane spent exactly one week together, madly in love. For years, without the other knowing, they each wrote to each other through their books. Now, they find themselves with another week together during the steamy Brooklyn summer. Can Eva forgive Shane for breaking her heart? Or will this week just become another secret love affair?

Tia Williams weaves a smart, hilarious, and super sexy story around her keen observations of creative life. This is more than just a romance novel, it’s a story of being a mother, a daughter, and a woman. What’s more, it’s a story about a broken heart.

Before We Were Strangers: A Love Story by Renée Carlino

Before We Were Strangers: A Love Story by Renée Carlino

From fast friend to lost companion to missed connection, this simple love story from Renee Carlino shows that there is always a chance at love. What would you do if you saw a long-lost friend waiting for the train, but just missed the chance to speak to them? Post a Craigslist “missed connection” of course.

Fifteen years after former NYU students met at their senior dorm rooms, one posts a “missed connection” online. The poster calls out to the Green-eyed Lovebird asking to reconnect over a coffee. The post reminisces over the times they spent together in college, living off the weird things they did for money and their love of music and photography. It was a perfect time.

But, the poster admits, it all fell apart after graduation. Then, by some miracle, in a city full of millions of people, there Green-eyed Lovebird was, waiting for the F train, bouncing up and down on their heels. For a brief moment as the train pulled away these two lost friends saw each other. But will Lovebird ever see the post?

The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon

The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Public radio is all about bringing the truth to its listeners. Or at least it is until it comes to the premise of a new hit show. Seattle public radio host Shay Goldstein loves her job but hates her hot-shot co-worker Dominic Yun. Despite their quarreling, Shay desperately wants to save the station from going under. So she pitches a new talk show where two exes offer relationship advice to listeners – Ex Talk.

The only problem is that the station decides that Shay and Dominic should be the hosts. Even though they have never dated, the station figures their constant fighting and inability to get along will convince their listeners otherwise. To Shay’s surprise, it works. Soon Ex Talk is the talk of the town! The only problem is that the fake exes might just be falling for each other.

What is more important, journalistic integrity and the survival of the radio station, or a potential budding romance.  This hilarious romance by Lynn Soloman is a great lighthearted read that will have fans of the “enemies to lovers” tropes loving every page.
