My take on these star-crossed lovers.
I really enjoyed this romantic comedy! The premise and set-up were great, and the idea of falling in love with someone who spent time on the International Space Station added a unique element that I found charming. It is definitely a slow burner; the romance doesn’t really heat up in a significant way until more than halfway through the book. But I’m a sucker for a friends-to-lovers story, and A Cosmic Kind of Love definitely delivers. The other relationships in the story add a lot of depth and complications to stand in the way of the main characters.
Christopher struggles to deal with his unsupportive, toxic father and wants to be a priority in his life. Hallie wants her choices to be respected and for her loved ones to accept the decisions that she’s made to get the life that she wants. The dual perspective gives readers a chance to experience the first-person thoughts and emotions of both characters, and the spicy scenes are sexy without being TOO graphic. You’ll love the fun premise and the authentic characters as much as I did!
