Zodiac Self-Care: Sagittarius

Reading Time: 9 minutes

Wanderlust, laughter, and passion are all parts of a Sagittarius sign’s self-care routine.

If there is one thing that Sagittarius aren’t a fan of, it’s taking a break. This fire sign would much rather move on to the next adventure than rest up. But what happens if you keep all your burners running? You get a bit of burnout.

Avoid burnout and find a self-care routine that you not only enjoy, but look forward to as much as your next project. Here are a few activities perfect for any Sagittarius.

Self-Care Routine

Do It – Don’t Just Talk About It

While it can be hard to get a Sagittarius to sit still, sometimes, it can be just as hard to get them to complete a project. This extroverted sign loves to talk about new projects, ideas, or future trips, but actually starting and finishing anything can be difficult.

Whether it is a problem with focusing on one task, boredom, or imposter syndrome, one way to avoid burnout is to just start and finish one thing at a time. So, stop talking and start doing.

Follow your intuition

Having a hard time making a decision? Feel stuck between a million choices? Don’t get frustrated, just follow your intuition. As a fire sign, Sagittarius have a strong sense of intuition. You might notice that your hunches tend to be right a lot of the time. Put your trust in yourself. Listen to your intuition.

Start an Idea book or a Vision Board

Of course the main reason why Sagittarius is constantly flipping through ideas is because they are big dreamers. So, start putting those dreams into practice by creating a vision board. Dreams are easier to act on when you can see everything in one place. When you see your goal, the inspiration behind it, and the steps to achieve it, it’s more likely to get done. Keep on dreaming – just make sure you write it down.

Check out Canva or Pintrest to create your own board. Or, you can make a physical one, like this insta account.

Journal it out

There are two important reasons for Sagittarius to keep a journal. The first is so you can write down all your great ideas in one place. The second is to clear your mind at the end of the day.

Dreamers are always thinking, reflecting, and planning, so take time at the end of the day to write it out. Write down what you’ve had on your mind all day so it doesn’t keep you from getting a great nights sleep. Creating an idea journal is also a great way to keep all your ideas in one place. This you can come back or add to them in the future.

A sauna is a perfect place for a Sagittarius because not only is it warm, but it can be extremely restorative and relaxing. You might be able to find a sauna at a local spa or gym, but you can also make your own version at home. All you have to do is turn your shower on hot and let the room fill up with relaxing steam.
